I just wanted to share some pictures from the past couple of weeks. We’ve really been enjoying the spring weather, and Anna just loves getting outside. She has been learning a lot of new words, and growing very fast again. (She just learned “choo-choo” and she says it really deliberately, it’s adorable.)

One challenge has been taking walks as a family. Anna doesn’t really like getting back into her stroller, after leaving it behind for the winter. In a couple of these pictures i’m wearing her like a backpack, which she actually didn’t mind.

I don’t think we’ve ever posted a picture of this. When Anna starts to get sleepy, she just lays down on any soft thing available.

Just want to make sure everything is setup correctly.

Here are a few pictures of Anna playing with her friend Sam last weekend. Sam is three months older than Anna, and they get along really well. They spent most of the afternoon playing, with Sam giving Anna a tour of his favorite toys.

Well, it snowed a lot when she was a newborn, but this is the first one she’s all grown up for. We also had pears and pancakes for breakfast, so this is a pretty incredible day.

I’ve been trying to catch a picture of Anna standing for the past week, but I’ve yet to get a good one. This is my best so far. Her balance is improving every day, and she can now stand for quite a while. She stood long enough for Maria to read her a picture book this morning. Walking can’t be too far away…
