Well, it snowed a lot when she was a newborn, but this is the first one she’s all grown up for. We also had pears and pancakes for breakfast, so this is a pretty incredible day.

The first snow is always wonderful. Even the first snow of the year is
always pure pleasure…this is year 84 for me and I woke up to a white
world today and “Ohhhh look – how beautiful!
Just think, Anna, when you are 84 it will be only a few years until the
next turn of a century…
